Culinary Bootcamp is an opportunity for high school aged campers to explore the world of culinary arts. This week long culinary intensive camp is designed to give those with a passion for the culinary arts a jumpstart to a possible career in the food industry. The bootcamp will be taught by culinary professions from around the country who bring their skills and talents to educate the next generation of chefs. The week long camp will include demonstrations, structured workshops and lab time, field trips to local farms and restaurants, and will culiminate with a final tasting menu created entirely by the campers and their mentors to be presented on the final day of camp. In addition, campers will have the opportunity to enjoy all of the recreational activities that Kamp Kaleo has to offer. Campers will receive a chef jacket, set of knives, and recipes.
