If you are a Junior or Senior in High School or a Freshman in College, who is interested in an intellectual encounter with national issues, international affairs and their relationship to your faith, the International Affairs Seminar may be an opportunity you do not want to miss.

This trip is designed to help Disciples of Christ and United Church of Christ youth from Nebraska and Colorado to discover what it means to be Global Christian in the 21st century.

        
                     
    Experience New York City: While in New York City, you will:
  • Worship at the magnificent Riverside Church
  • Tour the U.N. and participating in a seminar
  • Visit with people of other cultures and sampling different foods
  • Take in a Broadway show
  • Mix with the people of Greenwich Village and Chinatown, and riding the subways, New York cabs, Amtrak buses and the Staten Island Ferry
        
                     
    Experience Washington, D.C.: While in Washington, D.C. you will:
  • Converse with your Senators and Representatives
  • Visit the Washington Monument, the Vietnam Memorial, the Holocaust Museum, and other memorials
  • Work at the D.C. Kitchen
  • Celebrate and debrief the end of the week together
        
                     
    Cost:

$1,500- This price includes all meals, lodging, insurance, round trip transportation, all transportation during the Seminar, programming and entertainment fees. The only costs not covered are those for snack food, souvenirs and personal items.
