Kamp Kaleo is located on the North Loup River near Burwell, Nebraska. It is about 4 hours north and west of Omaha and about 3 1/2 hours from Lincoln.

The camp offers hiking, swimming, tubing, canoeing, games, crafts, singing, Bible study, quiet meditation, and campfires. It is a great place to escape the city and become closer with nature and with God.

            
                     
    Kamp Kaleo offers different types of camps for many ages.            
   
  • Primary, Junior, Junior High, and Senior High camps allow campers to have fun while learning about God through Bible study and many fun activities.
  • FOCUS Camp (Fellowship of Creative United Souls) offers campers the opportunity to experience God through drama, music, art, writing, and dance.
  • Calamus Canoe Quest is a three-day trip on the Calamus river where campers canoe and camp outdoors together.
            
                     
    There are also many opportunities for adults to participate in the Kaleo experience.            
   
  • Volunteering as a camp counselor or director
  • Participating in Work Weekend where volunteers prepare the camp for summer
  • Adventure in Community camps for mentally challenged adults
  • Men's and Women's retreats
            
                     
    Kamp Kaleo also offers a vacation getaway for anyone just wanting to get away for a week or a few days.
